On April 29, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. TAOS ALIVE and the Drug Enforcement Administration give the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.
Unused Prescription Drugs can be disposed of at anytime. This National Take Back Initiative educates the public on the dangers of keeping Rx Drugs around the home and where to dispose of unused pills. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
