JULY  2017

  • Mission:  Taos Alive Coalition unites the community to plan and implement strategies that prevent and reduce substance use and its consequences among Taos County youth.
  • Vision:  Taos County youth will live in a community that is safe, secure and drug-free.
This Month, our Taos Alive Staff Members attended Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) Training Programs in Santa Fe. Our Rx Drug Safety Specialist, Miles Bonny, reported: "at the CADCA training this week we learned about how to encourage our coalition members to get more involved in the topics on our strategic plan. A coalition is a group of people who work together and take on different roles toward the common good of the group in the community."
